Hallow Me As Your Disciple , Lord
Jan. 31, 2023
Facilitated by Dr. Michael Fonseca, D. Min.
Hallow Me as your Disciple, Lord is one of the five programs to help the advancing disciple understand the nature and dynamics of contemplative prayer that they will experience under the direction and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Section One: Praying with our New Testament Saints, focuses on the discipleship of nine New Testament (Covenant) saints especially, and other disciples as well, who were transformed by the Holy Spirit and lived as ardent disciples of their Savior and Lord Jesus, in total obedience to the Father’s will. We have chosen Mary, Mother of God, St. John the Baptist, Saints Peter, John the Beloved Disciple, Paul the Apostle, Nicodemus, Joseph of Arimathea, Mary Magdalene, Photina (the Samaritan Woman), and other holy men and women. They are our brothers and sisters in the Communion of Saints. They have gone before us, walking steadfastly in the footsteps of Jesus, their Master and Lord. In doing so, they were given deep understanding and appreciation of God’s Trinitarian Life through their sharing in the fullness of God’s divine life in Jesus. Their example of wholehearted discipleship can be a source of much encouragement and strength as we seek to emulate them and enter more deeply into covenant union with our Lord Jesus Christ, our Way to the Father through the Holy Spirit.

Pour Out Your Spirit Upon Us , Lord
Feb. 2, 2023
Facilitated by Arlene Zapalac and Stacy Oeding
Pour Out Your Spirit Upon Us, Lord continues the journey you began with Lead Me into the Deep, Lord. Over 14 weeks, you will be reflecting and praying on The Acts of the Apostles. Acts gives us a riveting account of the spread of the Church, Jesus' Covenant family, under the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Luke wants to give readers a theological understanding of the spread of the church that unfolded after the Ascension of the Jesus, and the Outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Just like them, we too have been sent to bring Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth!
